The smoky eyes that were seen across London were featured at Alberta Ferretti, too, with kohl liner and fading silver eyeshadow. The hair had a similar lived-in feel with a wavy, half-up half-down style.

Gucci kicked off Milan Fashion Week with two effortless beauty looks. The majority of the models had radiant, nude make-up with undone, loose hair, while a sprinkling of girls were given a reddy-pink, matte lip.

There is usually a dark, smouldering eye at Roberto Cavalli and the autumn/winter 2016 show was no different. The collection had a glam-rock vibe, which was referenced in the hair, too, with day-old tousled waves.

There were two different lips at Max Mara, a dark berry shade with a matte finish and a rich, matte pink hue.

Nevada's Burning Man festival was one of the references for the beauty look at Fendi for autumn/winter 2016. Using myriad colours, including aubergine, turquoise and orange, the make-up artist Tom Pecheux painted playful swirls across the eyes. For the models who wore sunglasses, Pecheux added a bright lip.

Nineties supermodels were the reference for the hair and make-up at Moschino. The hair stylist Paul Hanlon created three variations of undone, punky, bodied waves, while Tom Pecheux created strong, smoky eyes.

The Prada woman for autumn/winter 2016 is strong and independent. To portray this, the make-up artist Pat McGrath blended her own bold, matte red lip colour, while the hair stylist Guido Palau created a textured look with curls from the mid-length down.

The make-up artist Diane Kendal created graphic eyes, with the liner only going as far as the middle of the upper lid. For the hair, Paul Hanlon added texture to create a 'day-old' finish and pulled it off the face.

Another strong, dark lipstick look was seen at Bottega Veneta, where the hair stylist Guido Palau created sleek, sophisticated, centre-parted knots.

It was all about 'real girl' beauty at Etro for autumn/winter 2016. Brows were brushed up, liner was gently smudged and lips were enhanced with natural shades. The hair stylist James Pecis kept to the safe brief and created flat, S-bend waves.

Dark, maroon lips and precisely sculpted waves formed the beauty look at Marni for fall/winter 2016.

The eyes were the focus at Versace, with the make-up artist Pat McGrath using liner to outline and define, and plenty of mascara on both the top and bottom lashes.

The Dolce & Gabbana fairy tale came into its own with the show's hair and make-up. Each model-turned-princess had flawless skin, rosy cheeks and pretty pink lips. Most also had intricate hair accessories, too.
