Ariana Grande is known as much for her signature hairstyle as she is for her powerful vocals and amazing live performances. Not to mention her catchy songs that got us grooving side to side. But just 2 days ago, she debuted a new hair do that has the world shook. Check out her amazing transformation:
Her casual caption claims that it's grey but perhaps the Instagram filter is creating a pinkish hue to this new colour. Whatever it is, Ariana is almost unrecognisable, we had to do a double-take. We are still unsure of the sudden change of heart to move to a lighter, almost platinum colour but we are certainly digging the new look. It is giving us MAJOR Khaleesi vibes and to be compared to the Mother of Dragons is always a good thing in our books.

Naturally, Twitter went ballistic as word spread.

Some are debating whether it's a wig or her own actual hair.
We are still unsure ourselves if this is a truly flawless grey-lilac dye job or a simply a wig (which might be a tad anti-climatic) . But we hope Ariana will continue to rock this fresh new look. Perhaps it will revive the pastel and grey hair trend again that is perfect for the more cooler months towards the end of the year. We're sure that many will be copying her new look because Ariana is a key hair-fluencer.
It is giving us throwbacks to her "Focus" music video where she had platinum white hair. Twitter seems to agree.
