Who doesn’t love a Mediterranean escape? Blue skies, azure waters and golden sunshine… it’s what dreams are made of. And now, thanks to Giorgio Armani Beauty’s immersive new installation at Changi Airport Terminal 1, you can actually have that quick jaunt on the Mediterranean Sea before you jet off to your next destination.
Held in conjunction with The Shilla Duty Free and Changi Airport Group, the Armani Yacht Club is modelled on designer Giorgio Armani’s elegantly luxurious yacht. Think: Light birch wood floors, deep green walls that take their inspiration from military ships and a cut-out ceiling that gives the installation an airy and breezy feel.
It will also be the first yacht club concept in the world to welcome the brand’s latest Acqua di Giò Absolu fragrance, a new addition to the iconic Acqua di Giò Homme line. Bringing refinement and elegance back to masculinity, the new Acqua di Giò Absolu fragrance is heady blend of woody, sensual patchouli sourced exclusively from Guatemala, and marine notes that give it a fresh, aquatic edge.
What’s more, immersive elements add to the playfulness of the installation. For starters, the brand’s exclusive fragrance barometer digital application allow customers to explore and discover their favourites from Giorgio Armani’s Acqua di Giò Absolu and Armani Code fragrances. Simply select three favourite key notes from a barometer sailing tool, adjust the perfume intensity level and a final perfume blend from Giorgio Armani that suits their preferences will be revealed at the end.
Another not to miss station is the photo booth that allows customers to “steer” their way to two different scenarios: The blue, sparkling waters of Acqua di Giò Absolu, or the festive and seductive world of the Armani Code.
Customers at the Armani Yacht Club will also be treated to a complimentary engraving service for a fragrance leather case, scented nautical bracelet or Acqua di Giò Absolu travel spray for every purchase of an Acqua di Giò men’s fragrance.
The Armani Yacht Club will be at Singapore Changi Airport, Terminal 1 Transit Departure Area from 28 March 2018 to 26 April 2018.
