Q: How does Burberry Liquid Lip Velvet differ or compare to other liquid matte lip colours?

A:Burberry Liquid Lip Velvet has a really comforting texture on the lips. The formula is highly pigmented, enabling you to choose from lots of different matte lip looks – ranging from a light stain to a bold statement lip.

Q: What do you love most about the texture of Burberry Liquid Lip Velvet?

A: I love that it is super-easy to apply and glides onto the lips effortlessly for a soft, velvet finish.

Q: Does Burberry Liquid Lip Velvet dry down or remain creamy on the lips? What is the benefit of this, either way?

A:It remains creamy on the lips after application but it won’t move. Liquid Lip Velvet is a highly pigmented, whipped cream texture, enabling it to deliver a long-lasting, intense colour without feeling drying on the lips.

Q: What do you love most about the pigments used in Burberry Liquid Lip Velvet?

A:I love that Liquid Lip Velvet is so highly pigmented. The rich pigments enable you to create an intense lip look, effortlessly.

Q: If you had to pick your hero shade of the Burberry Liquid Lip Velvet,which would it be and why?

A: My hero shade would have to be Oxblood (No.53). It’s an iconic Burberry shade and adds a fresh, modern twist to a bold lip look.

Q: Is there a perfect Burberry Liquid Lip Velvet nude shade?

A: Fawn Rose (No.09) is the perfect nude in the Liquid Lip Velvet range. I used it on all the models backstage at the Burberry show in September and it worked well on them.

Q: Should a lip liner be used with Burberry Liquid Lip Velvet?

A:You don’t need to define the lips when using Burberry Liquid Lip Velvet, but you can do if you want to. It really depends on thelook you want to create; there are lots of looks to choose from and you might want to use a lip definer if you are creating a more precise statement lip.

Q: How many coats of Burberry Liquid Lip Velvet do I need to apply for a high-pigment, rich colour look?

A:I would recommend applying two coats to achievea bold, statement look.

Q: Should I use a lip brush to apply Burberry Liquid Lip Velvet?

A:You can use a lip brush but Liquid Lip Velvet has it’s own applicator for quick, easy application. If you are creating a statement lip look, then using a brush will help you achieve a more precise finish.

Q: Any tips for using other Burberry make-up products with Liquid Lip Velvet?

A:You can create a modern ombre lip look using Burberry Liquid Lip Velvet. Line the lips with Lip Definer first and apply a matching shade of Liquid Lip Velvet all over the lips. Take a slightly lighter shade and apply it just into the centre of the lips. Then, using a brush, blend it out towards the edges of the lips for a subtle ombre effect.
