Just months after the beauty arcade of our dreams, Coco Game Centre, Chanel presents Le Rouge, an exclusive exploration of beauty through red—Gabrielle Chanel’s favourite colour and symbol of life, courage and passion that strings through everything the luxury house does till this day. Think of it as the sophisticated older sister of the pop-ups, where makeup and fragrance journeys culminate with drinks at the bar.

Upon entering the Le Rouge pop-up, a matte red wall ushers you into the Red Factory, complete with industrial tanks churning with an infinite array of lipsticks and nail polishes. Suspended above, a moving conveyer belt transports flacons of the N°5 fragrance that, if you watch long enough, transforms from classic clear into a bold crimson hue—exclusively for the pop-up happening consecutively around the world. This limited edition red bottle marks the first ever redesign of the legendary N°5 fragrance since its inception, and next-level collectors can invest in a mammoth 900ml red Baccarat crystal bottle, of which only 55 pieces have been created worldwide. Looking up from the lavishly stocked makeup counters will reveal technical sketches of Chanel’s most noted beauty products, giving you a glimpse into their creation and creative processes.

Once you are done trying on the myriad textures and forms of Chanel’s reds—including the new N°5 Rouge Allure Velvet lipstick—take your best shot at the geometric Red Corridor, designed to make you look like you’re within the crimson N°5 bottle itself. Finally, this leads to the chicest Red Bar in town, featuring plush alcoves framed by textured walls and a floor-to-ceiling Chanel library, perfect for lounging away the afternoon with a crimson cocktail (or two) in hand.
#ChanelLeRougePopUp is open to public from 17 to 21 October at 72-13 Mohamed Sultan Road. For bookings visit: http://chanelbeautysg.com/events/lerouge
