Elizabeth Arden Enlists Ning Chang As Their Asia Brand Ambassador

The brand and Taiwanese actress aim to introduce their beauty line to the next generation

Taiwanese actress Ning Chang, also known as Janine Chang, has joined Elizabeth Arden as their newest Asia brand ambassador. Chang is also known for her philanthropic efforts and multi-lingual capabilities—she speaks English, Mandarin, Taiwanese and German. Which is definitely come in handy in her new role as she fronts the beauty brand’s advertising campaigns.

Elizabeth Arden, born Florence Nightingale Graham, is considered a pioneer in the beauty industry. She started her salon 1914 after the dissolution of her partnership with Elizabeth Hubbard. Which, in retrospect, was probably the catalyst that gave us the cult-favourite brand we know and love today. After going solo in the beauty business, Arden employed chemists to help her create face creams and lotions, which were her first line of beauty products.

Fast forward to today, the beauty label has over 300 products and is sold worldwide. The success of which is very much attributed to Arden’s trailblazing efforts—when she started her company, women didn’t even have the right to vote in America. So, if you think about it, it makes natural sense to have Ning Chang as the brand’s Asia ambassador. She upholds Arden’s philosophy of inspiring “women to go out and make their mark”.
