BAZAAR Editors Try On Estee Lauder Pure Color Love Lipstick In Blase Bluff
An everyday nude lip at its best
Matte lipsticks have been on the lips of many women, quite literally. And as women become increasingly demanding when it comes to product performance, matte lipsticks that dry lips out or feel thick and heavy no longer make the cut. Which is why the BAZAAR girls and I were extremely excited when we were swatching Estee Lauder's Pure Color Love Lipsticks.
As the latest addition to the brand's Pure Color series of lip colours (there are high-shine lipsticks and glosses etc), the Pure Color Love range is super pigmented and consists of four different finishes: ultra-mattes, shimmer pearls, cooled chromes and edgy cremes. And the shade that garnered a collective gasp was Blase Bluff, an ultra-matte flesh tone shade.
At first swipe, the colour was intense and the bullet glided smoothly over the lips without any tugging that some ultra-matte lipsticks might cause. We also loved the unique shape of the lipstick bullet, which makes it super easy to precisely define the cupid's bow. And best part, the formula is infused with botanical oils and feels almost like nothing at all.
