Australian model and businesswoman Miranda Kerr emanates the breeze of the Pacific in Louis Vuitton's digital campaign for its newest fragrance, Pacific Chill. This latest addition to the French Maison's Parfums de Cologne collection, concocted by master perfumer Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud, is inspired by the scents of the California coast, and brought to life by creative collaborator, artist Alex Israel.

This latest addition to Louis Vuitton's fragrances captures a sense of well-being, vitality and the pleasures that come from the light of a new day warming the skin. Likened to taking a deep breath before a tranquil ocean, the fragrance soothes the senses with its balance of different scents.

Surprisingly, the conception of this fragrance came from an interesting discussion between Cavallier-Belletrud and Israel on "those detoxifying smoothies that Californians love." On the inspiration behind the fragrance Cavallier-Belletrud said, "I was inspired by the vitamin-packed juice and said to Alex, 'I'm going to create a detox Cologne!' I tried to transcribe, through emotion, the well-being effects of that fruity blend." And Pacific Chill certainly doesn't disappoint, bringing together notes of blackcurrant, carrot seed and other aromatic herbs in perfect harmony.

Working together with Cavallier-Belletrud, Los Angeles-based Israel brought his signature visual sensibility to the art packaging and promotions for the perfume. Painting a California land-and-seascape specially designed for the new fragrance, Israel’s aesthetic choices invite you on a journey through the Pacific coast with splashes of verdant green and iridescent blue. Explaining his artistic vision, Israel says "The green and blue gradient is resourced directly from the landscape which I associate most intuitively with the scent: it's the green of the hillsides and the blue of the sea and sky along the Southern California Coast, in the morning. It’s where I love to hike." Conveying a sense of calm, cool and serenity, Louis Vuitton's Pacific Chill Parfum de Cologne comes in either a 100ml or 200ml bottle, accompanied by a Fragrance Trunk and Travel Case that reimagine Israel’s painting on the Monogram canvas.
