Love a makeup look that’s both on trend and easy to achieve. Precision is not the name of the game here. Use a creamy black eyeliner like the Diorshow 24H Stylo Waterproof Eyeliner in 091 Matte Black, extending the line beyond the inner and outer corners of the eye, and smudge slightly to blur and soften the edges. Keep the rest of the face bare, with just a hint of a warm, peachy shade on the lips and cheeks.

Hot pink is set to dominate the streets since Pierpaolo Piccioli unveiled his Valentino Pink PP collection at the fall/winter 2022 show. Put the focus on your eyes with a bubblegum pink like M.A.C’s Powder Kiss Soft Matte Eyeshadow in Fall In Love, a metallic fuchsia like NARS’ Single Eyeshadow in Domination, or a vivid neon hue from Anastasia Beverly Hills’ Norvina Pro Pigment Palette Vol. 6 for Face and Body. If pink eyelids are a little too much for everyday wear, opt for a bright lippie like Shiseido's VisionAiry Gel Lipstick in 213 Neon Buzz instead.

You're A Gem

A trend that has continued from the spring/summer runway shows (think Etro and C+ Series), bedazzled eyes get more graphic and unapologetically refined for fall/winter. Even out your complexion with Hermès Beauty’s Plein Air Complexion Balm and let the eyes be the star of the show. For long-lasting colour, use a creamy base such as Cosme Decorté’s AQ MW Eye Glow Gem in BL980 all over the eyelid and lower lash line, and set it with Dior’s Mono Couleur Couture Eyeshadow in 240 Denim. Line eyes with a black kohl pencil and add sparkle with self-adhesive face jewels from Half Magic Beauty or Colourpop.

An eye-opening look relies on proper prep work to plump and define the lashes. To strengthen them, use Revitalash’s Advanced Eyelash Conditioner and let it dry completely. Give lashes a lift with Hourglass’s Lash Curler, then apply a few coats of the Diorshow Maximizer 3D Mascara Primer-Serum which boosts volume while protecting lashes. The trick to maximising volume without clumping is multiple thin coats. Wipe off excess mascara on the wand, let each coat dry before applying the next, until you achieve your desired volume.
