10 Hardworking Products From Dior Beauty For The Busy Modern Woman

It would be hard for anyone to not notice the bold, voluminous lashes on the models backstage at Dior's ready-to-wear spring/summer 2018 show. Creative and Image Director for Dior Makeup, Peter Philips, was inspired to create a fresh and modern look to complement Maria Grazia Chiuri's youthful collection that paid homage to the works of Niki de Saint-Phalle (a French-American artist who was close friends with Marc Bohan, then Creative Director of Dior from 1960 to 1989).

"I wanted, in particular, to accentuate the eyes, in a very spontaneous way, giving the impression of a young girl who had applied her own makeup," says Peter Philips. The result? The skin looked impeccable but felt fresh and didn't look heavy at all. Everything else was kept bare with the exception of multiple coats of volumising mascara for a dramatic effect.

To create this ultra-modern look, Peter Philips and his team backstage used a range of high-performance Dior makeup products to enhance the natural beauty of models.
