Things are looking up for fall 2021. As we adjust to life beyond the face mask, those in the know understand how to balance the minimalist makeup we've become accustomed to to and the slow reemergence of glam as life beings to open back up. "I think pops of color will trend, from soft pastels to bold brights. You can easily pair a pop of color with a minimal look or go ultra-glam," says Claudia Soare, President of Anastasia Beverly Hills. "And wearing color in different ways, like blush through the center of the face. I also think classics like smoky eyes, liner, and bold lips always have a moment in fall."
When in doubt, look to the classics: lipstick, liquid eyeliner, lashes. But with a 2021 twist. Ahead, the fall 2021 makeup trends we're most excited about.
