Stunning royal wedding guest, Priyanka Chopra, wore a ‘Purple Reign’-inspired beauty look courtesy of Hollywood make-up artist Pati Dubroff.

Speaking exclusively to Bazaar, the artist – who works closely with Margot Robbie, amongst other stars – told us the inspiration for Chopra’s beauty look “was ‘Purple Reign’ and spring flowers in vibrant pinks and purples,” adding that she created a mood board for the look on her Instagram which featured Prince, of course, and Rihanna.

Before her bold application of colour, Dubroff spent time ensuring the Indian actress’ skin would look radiant, while shine-free for photography purposes.

“I always prep skin with the 111SKIN Exfoliating Cleanser and then 111SKIN Rose Gold Brightening Facial Treatment Mask,” she said. “I let the mask stay on ideally for at least 15 minutes to really hydrate and get the skin bright. I then use a mattifying primer in the tone to avoid the need for a lot of powder.”

Besides her radiant, polished complexion, the focus was firmly on Chopra’s lids-and-lips; bold, bright and beautiful.

“For the eyes, the look was a soft and bright eye with a graduation of pale pink shine on the inner corner, a pop of bright pink (blush) in the centre of the lid and then plum focused at the outer corner,” Dubroff explained. The products she used were Chanel Les 4 Ombres 272 Tisse Dimensions and Ombre Premiere 12 Rose Synthetique, “finished with one coat of Chanel Le Volume Mascara in Black.”

On Chopra’s lips, the make-up artist applied not one but two Chanel lipsticks, “Rouge Allure Velvet 34 La Raffinee and 50 La Romanesque, which she packed the actress off with for the big event.

As for her perfect power brows, it was Chopra’s own handiwork that finished the beauty look. “Priyanka always does her own brows,” Dubroff told us. “No one does them better!” Her tools of choice? “She likes to use a matte warm brown shadow with an angled brush,”she added, citing the Chanel La palette Sourcils 40 Naturel, used to give soft structure. We fully approve.
