BAZAAR Beauty Day Out Episode 1: Delving Deep Into Dior

In the first stop of the Harper's BAZAAR Beauty Day Out, I rounded up beauty influencers Leanne Ho (@loveforskincare), Christabel Chua (@bellywellyjelly) and Michelle Sielman (@bubblymichelle), and headed to Parfums Christian Dior's flagship store in The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. As the largest Parfums Christian Dior store in Singapore, this flagship store stocks the full range of the brand's skincare, makeup and fragrances.

For starters, we headed over to the makeup section and zoomed in on the Diorskin Forever Perfect Cushion, $78 or $59 for refill, which won Best Cushion Foundation in the Harper's BAZAAR Beauty Awards 2017. Designed to provide a matte yet luminous finish, this lightweight cushion foundation can be layered easily without causing makeup to look heavy or cakey. It also contains the "Colour-Lock" technology which ensures all-day wear against heat and humidity. Perfect for those with shine-prone skin, it is also infused with skincare ingredients to balance sebum levels for glowing skin.

To find our perfect shade, we got a skin tone analysis using the Dior Skin Analyzer (which also offers skincare products recommendations) and proceeded on to try out the formula for ourselves at the tester bar. The result? Fresh, flawless complexion by simply patting on the puff-sponge onto skin, focusing on areas where extra coverage is needed.

Next, we went on an olfactory journey through an in-depth fragrance consultation, where we learned about the extensive Dior fragrance offerings, the House's expertise in perfumery and the exquisite raw ingredients used. One of its most iconic fragrances, Miss Dior Eau de Parfum, $115 for 30ml, $167 for 50ml, $240 for 100ml, won Woman's Scent Of The Year in the Harper's BAZAAR Beauty Awards 2017.

Reinvented earlier this year, the new Miss Dior Eau de Parfum highlights the vibrancy of the May rose. This luminous eau also features sparkling accents of bergamot and pink pepper for ultra-addictive trial.
