Here’s yet another reason to love the Bollywood turned Hollywood movie star: She’s recently allied herself with Obagi to launch SKINCLUSION—an initiative to celebrate diversity and inclusion.

For those of you unfamiliar with Obagi, they are an entirely female-led independent global skincare company that’s dedicated to providing advanced and clinically-proven skincare solutions for all skin types, and more importantly, all complexions. They’re also touted as the “first skin care brand to design its clinical research covering all six skin types across the Fitzpatrick skin spectrum”.

According to Jonas, Obagi’s latest initiative is “very close to [her] heart because it aligns with [her] values and personal experience”. She also adds that “the initiative supports the idea that we should be more conscious about everything we do, including how we address the automatic assumptions we make about others based on their skin tone.”
