5 Nail Salons To Check Out For Your Chinese New Year Mani-Pedi

It's going to be a show of hands...

Every year, as Chinese New Year is around the corner, I'll whip out my annual CNY checklist. Of course, there are the usual spring cleaning and another update to the wardrobe (Yay to more excuses for shopping!), but what I really look forward to are the primping sessions. Hair cut aside, getting my nails done is another favourite part of getting ready for CNY. Not only does this beauty ritual guarantee a conversation starter while I'm making my rounds at my relatives' houses, it also makes for a great bonding time with my girlfriends. So if you haven't given much thought about your CNY mani-pedi, here are some of my favourite nail salons to check out.

1. LEEKAJA Beauty Salon

Hailing from Seoul, this Korean super-chain has over 100 salons in Korea and has recently expanded into China, Australia and Singapore. Offering hair and nail services, all the nail products used are from Korea, including Korea's number 1 nail brand, BANDI. Expect a relaxed vibe and super meticulous service!

LEEKAJA is at #03-13 Mandarin Gallery, Tel: 6909 0504

Whether you come with your preferred nail art references or request for the nail technicians to suggest, you're sure to love them to bits!

Situated in the quaint Joo Chiat neighbourhood, Boo-Ti Parlour goes above and beyond merely providing nail services in a comfortable environment. The nail salon is furnished with ultra-luxe massage chairs so you can work out those knotty kinks in your back and shoulders while getting your mani-pedi. There is also an event space on level two, so if you feel like renting it out for a nail party, we just why not?
