At the 2020 Golden Globes, actress Priyanka Chopra was a walking masterclass in Hollywood glamour. Accessorising a striking Cristina Ottaviano dress, she swished down the red carpet with glossy waves by hairstylist Christian Wood and Bvlgari jewels.
Her make-up, courtesy of Kardashian-favourite artist, Mary Phillips, was all about “blush and crimson glam” – and on Instagram she shared a breakdown of the beauty look. On Chopra’s lips were no less than four products.

Using all Pat McGrath Labs make-up, first Phillips used the Permagel Ultra Lip Pencil in ‘Major’, then the MatteTrance Lipstick in ‘Vendetta’ followed by shades ‘Elson 2’ and ‘Obsessed!’ “in [the] centre for an ombré effect”. Clearly this layering technique both achieved further fullness with Chopra’s already plump pout, and longevity.
On the actress’s eyes Phillips used the EYEdols Eye Shadow in ‘Statuesque’ along the brow bone and over the lid, the shade ‘Taboo’ from the Mothership VI: Midnight Sun palette on the crease, and the ‘Dark’ shade from the Mothership II: Sublime palette to add depth.
Phillips explained that she “kept skin mostly matte, but lightly swept [the] Skin Fetish Highlighter + Balm Duo in ‘Golden’ along the bridge of the nose”. We imagine Chopra might be wearing the super-silky Pat McGrath Labs Sublime Perfection Foundation, too, which has smoothing and blurring properties. Her rosy cheek colour wasn’t revealed, but given that it married with her lip colour so beautifully, it could have been thanks to a lipstick as opposed to a traditional blusher.
