Social media is the most accessible way of finding out about the latest lipstick launches. With new shades and ranges hitting the market every week, it's hard to know which are the trending lippies to get. Here are some of the top lipsticks loved on Instagram.
As part of their 20th anniversary celebration in 2014, the Audacious Lipstick Collection launched 40 stunning shades (which have since grown) in pinks, reds, oranges, coral and even lilac and purple.

This lip kit launched the liquid lipstick craze and revived the lip liner market. Kylie Cosmetics' Lip Kits used to be so coveted that they sold out within minutes of launch, contributing to its buzz on Instagram.
While the stocks aren't nearly as hard to come by, the recent revamp to a vegan formula probably revived its status as the leading liquid lip colour. There's a good selection of warm and cool tones that flatter a wide range of skin tones.
The shape of the applicator is tapered at the end for precise application and the lightweight formula coats the lips without feeling heavy or sticky. This lipstick is made to last, boasting 16-hour long-wear that doesn't budge.

Taking the top spot is NYX Professional Makeup's Soft Matte Lip Cream. While the brand has exited Singapore, it's still available on online retailers like LookFantastic if you're hankering for its creamy formula and pocket-friendly prices.
There are 34 shades of this lipstick, all named after cities in the world, ranging from MLBB shades to wild ones like purple and blue.
Lady Gaga's Haus Labs recently got a rebrand into an artistry-focused, clean beauty label. One of the new products that received rave reviews on social media is the Atomic Shake Lip Lacquer, which provides a super glossy finish. The best part? The liquid lipstick is transfer-proof and won't budge until you're ready to remove it.

The lipstick shade Pillow Talk specifically put Charlotte Tilbury into everybody's makeup bag. The nude pink hue is flattering on most people's skin tones. Available in 84 shades and four finishes—satin, velvet, metallic and matte—the Rouge Dior is Dior's main lipstick line. 999 is the brand's iconic red but you get a wide range of choices from nudes and browns to oranges and reds. The lipstick is also built to be refillable.
Another brand that fuelled the liquid lipstick craze was Anastasia Beverly Hills. The American label offers 27 shades from staple nudes and reds to unique hues like grey, green and purples in its full coverage matte formulation.

A brand that started with beauty influencer Huda Kattan, it shouldn't be a surprise that Huda Beauty's products are well-publicised online. The Matte Power Bullet is built with pigmentation and comfort in mind as it contains sweet almond oil to nourish your lips.
Pat McGrath is a makeup maestro who shapes beauty trends via the runway. Her MatteTrance lipstick offers a matte finish while the formula is built with optical diffusers, polymers and spheres to blur lip lines and ensure lightweight, saturated pigmentation.
