Her acting debut was rather unconventional

Freen’s first gig in the Thai acting scene was not a supporting role in a drama, often considered to be the usual route for most of her peers, but as an actor in the music video for the single “Before Rain” by Thai singer The Toys in 2017. At the time of writing, the video has accumulated over 66 million views and counting. She signed on with talent agency Idol Factory in 2022, then with The Venture Management in 2024.

Upcoming projects
#FreenBecky reunites once again in their upcoming series, Cranium, which is said to be their most intense drama yet. The series is a mix of science fiction, mystery, and a classic slow-burn romance storyline. Freen plays Dr. Phinya “Phin” Thananon, an intelligent but reserved forensic anthropologist and Becky stars as Dr. Bussaya “Bua” Methin, Phin’s sharp and witty former university rival. A major disaster forces the characters to team up to investigate an unidentified skull, sparking the unravelling of their past together.
The 12-episode series is scheduled for release in January 2026. It premiered for the first time at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, marking a historic moment as the first GL series ever selected to be screened at this prestigious event.
Then there is The 4 Elements, which is set to be the ultimate GL blockbuster series. Leading entertainment companies Idol Factory and North Star Entertainment have teamed up for the collaborative project with a four-part series based on the four classical elements: The Fire, The Air, The Water and The Earth.
The highly anticipated novel-turned-drama series boasts a stellar line-up of Thai It girl duos: Namneung Milin and Noey Kanteera in The Fire, Engfa Waraha and Charlotte Austin in The Water, Apple Lapisara and Mim Panthita in The Earth and, last but not least, Freen Sarocha and Becky Armstrong in The Air. Each duo will be the stars of their own standalone series, with cameos from the other pairs in The 4 Elements universe.
In The Air, Freen plays Vayo “Lom” Wathinwanit, an officer who is required to protect Princess Catherine Blew de Laina of Madelin (Becky), a visiting royal. The romantic thriller follows their action-packed journey as feelings develop between the two characters. While most of the details are strictly under wraps, this series is definitely one to keep your eyes peeled for.
