Youʼve probably noticed a change on our cover not because it’s a man (we’ve had quite a few over the past three years) but rather, the four candid faces of Korean heartthrob and idol, Lee Min Ho. The 36-year old star, who first graced our screens in the hit series, Boys Over Flowers over 15-years ago, is back again with a vengeance. He spoke to Deputy Editor, Renée Batchelor, about the trials and tribulations of stardom, comparing productions in Hollywood and Korea and also why he wants to act as much as possible over the next four years before he hits the big 40. The 187cm tall star, still incredibly charismatic, handsome and boyish, shared a rare candid moment with us. “One of the exciting memories that I have was being pinched on the butt at the airport by a fan. It was very memorable, in a way!” Read and see what else Lee has to say as he lounges in the very best spring/summer looks from Fendi on page 83.

The April edition marks a focus on the key accessories of the season, where we highlight the cutest ballerina gladiator hybrids from Dior to the glitziest bags from Gucci and YSL. Turn to page 54 to see some of the coolest finds to help you dress in style this coming summer. And of course, no bag discourse is complete without a deep dive into the enduring appeal of the Tod’s Di bag, which was named after the late Princess Diana. Plus, flip to page 58 to read why all the young girls are crazy about CELINE’s Victoire bag which made its debut on the 2024 SS runways. Personally, I’m banking my money on a handmade, personalised trunk from Louis Vuitton. After seeing the incredible trunks that were made for the Australian Open, I’m so tempted to get one just so I can have it displayed as the ultimate coffee table. See the stunning trunk made for Carlos Alcaraz and other sporting greats on page 56.

Finally, this issue also celebrates the very best of couture. Whether it’s a restrained kind of elegance or something that’s dressy and dazzling, today’s couture creations have a down-to-earth quality about them. It’s less about the flamboyance and more about the craft and precision that makes couture today so much more wearable, yet infinitely sexy. Meanwhile, workday classics are going down the early ’90s route with power shoulders, slinky separates and filmy silk blouses forming the base of a working wardrobe. Add killer heels, sheer stockings and a chain handle bag and you have it down pat. It’s a lot more grown up, yet wonderfully chic and pulled together. They are ensembles made to seal the deal. Some things in life, despite the vintage, never change, and an elegance in attitude and dress always reigns supreme.
