Only Anne Hathaway can make short shorts look this luxe.

While out and about in New York City on Wednesday (Aug 3), the Academy Award–winning star was spotted in a breezy yet luxurious ensemble. She wore an ivory collared shirt, featuring an oversized silhouette and shirred details all over. The blouse draped over a pair of matching short shorts with split hems at the sides. Hathaway completed the look with a pair of bedazzled sandals, a hot pink studded shoulder bag, gold earrings, and black sunglasses.

Hathaway already knows a thing or two about styling short shorts. In June, the WeCrashed actress attended the unveiling of Bulgari's newest High Jewellery Collection in Paris, where she wore a fluorescent yellow look straight from Valentino's spring/summer 2022 Rendez-Vous runway. The ensemble included a sweeping long-sleeved dress, which she wore unbuttoned to expose a pair of matching short shorts underneath. For shoes, she opted for heeled sandals in a champagne shade.

Over the past year, she's also made plenty of fashion statements that use her long legs as an accessory. For instance, in July, Hathaway dazzled at Valentino's haute couture show in Rome, where she wore a hot pink sparkling minidress from the Italian house's fall/winter 2022 runway. The piece, in Valentino's now signature shade of Valentino Pink PP, was also covered in glittering sequins and featured a mock neck, a structured flair skirt, and ruffle details under the bust.

In another leggy outing, this time at the Cannes Film Festival in May, the actress opted for a black-and-blue minidress from Gucci, which included inky black sequins, a bustier, and an electric blue patent-leather cone-shaped bra with straps.
