JK Rowling might be getting her own major motion picture in the not-too-distant future.

A biopic of the author—which tells the story of how at age 25, while juggling her career and personal life, she managed to create the now iconic wizarding world of Harry Potter—is one of the scripts at the top of the 'Black List'. This is an annual rundown of the most popular unproduced screenplays of the year.

The movie is called When Lightning Strikes, and is written by newcomer Anna Klassen. The Black List is compiled of screenplays that aren't in production that year. It's voted for by movie executives and in the past has included the screenplays for Spotlight,Slumdog MillionaireArrival and Argo.

Biopics seem to be big this year – the list also includes true-life stories of John Hughes, Elon Musk, David Prowse and many more.

Meanwhile, Rowling has also been made a Companion of Honour by Buckingham Palace for her contributions to literature and philanthropy. "To be included in the distinguished and diversely talented company of the other Companions of Honour, especially as a female writer, is a particular privilege," she said.
