Ladies and gentlemen, Valentino presents Suga of BTS in the Maison’s latest campaign—Valentino The Narratives—lensed by photographer Theo Wenner and directed by creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli.

The rapper and producer was inducted as a Valentino DI.VA almost a year ago for his unique style, which embodies the new masculine design codes of the brand, and his contemporary voice and values that have the potential to shape and influence others.

The menswear campaign shares a glimpse of the musician’s busy life, from the studio to the streets of Seoul with stolen moments where he finds himself alone between engagements with the press and interactions with his fans.

Of course, Suga’s star power and poise are matched by the brand’s formalwear staples of suited looks with shorts, printed co-ords and accessories; from sleek ties and the Valentino Garavani One Stud Sneakers to the Valentino Garavani and PORTER Locò bag collab, which debuted in December 2023.

The collaboration was first unveiled last June on the runway at Valentino's Spring/Summer 2024 menswear show in Milan. At its core, the bags unite the different design languages, ideas and traditions of both brands; culminating in a capsule collection that truly encompasses the best of both worlds.

The small and medium-sized Locò bags, which adopt PORTER’s classic essentials-only aesthetic and signature nylon fabric with the Toile Iconographe pattern jacquard atop, come in black, khaki, maroon and yellow.

Four traditional PORTER silhouettes have also been given a Valentino makeover such as the briefcase, tote, shoulder bag and shoulder pouch, all of which are sporting the Toile Iconographe pattern in subtle tonal hues.
