Camila Cabello And Shawn Mendes Step Out Holding Hands After Rekindling Their Romance
The stars have been seeing each other secretly for months
Rekindled exes Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes are dropping more hints that they are back on for good.
Yesterday, Cabello and Mendes were spotted holding hands while out in New York City. They were all smiles and wore coordinating ensembles, both opting for baggy light-wash jeans and sneakers.

The pair’s city date comes after their buzzy joint appearance last month at Coachella, where the singers were captured on video sharing a passionate kiss during a show. The steamy public reunion—which took place April 14—spurred initial rumours of a reconciliation. (The stars previously dated for two years, but split in November 2021.) It also fuelled fans’ theories that Cabello’s as-yet-unreleased song “June Gloom”—which she teased in a now-deleted Instagram post in April—may be about Mendes. “Are you coming to Coachella? / If you don’t, it’s whatever / If you do, honey, it’ll be all I think about,” she sang on the track.

Cabello and Mendes were also seen out together earlier this month in Los Angeles. For the date, the two were captured in coordinating white shirts—Mendes in a turtleneck and Cabello in a button-up—and looked affectionate while sharing an embrace.
In late April, a source claimed to Daily Mail that Cabello and Mendes had been secretly seeing one another for weeks, adding that their two-year separation allowed them to realise the depth of their connection. “Having played the field for two years now, they both know now how special what they had was,” the insider said.

Another source told Entertainment Tonight that Cabello and Mendes have been “enjoying each other’s company” and are “seeing where things go” from here.
