Deepika Padukone And Ranveer Singh's Official Wedding Photos Are Revealed

Update: Late last night, both Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh finally revealed the official photos from the wedding ceremony and it is as stunning as we imagined. Showcasing the traditional South Indian wedding ceremony, the couple was lavishly dressed in vibrant red hues and traditional Indian clothing designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. 

The couple looked very much in love, happy and gorgeous together. Truly a wedding that is befitting of the Bollywood royalty such as they. No news yet of the guests and other festivities, but you can bet that we are watching the couple in major anticipation for for photos and information to be released.

Original story, 15/11: The ever stunning Deepika Padukone is officially married and fans are going nuts because her newlywed husband is none other than her co-star and fellow actor, Ranveer Singh. Deepika, 32, first worked together with Ranveer, 33, shooting Sanjay Leela Bhansali's critically acclaimed film, 'Goliyan Ki Raasleela Ramleela' (a Bollywood adaptation of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet). This was back in 2013 and rumours immediately flew as the sparks between the co-stars were hard to ignore. Their incredible chemistry in the film turned them into a fan favourite on-screen couple. Soon after the release and blockbuster success of their film, Deepika and Ranveer revealed that they were in fact dating, much to the delight of fans.

Since then, they have starred in several other films together, such as 'Padmaavat' and the mega blockbuster hit, 'Bajirao Mastani'. This catapulted both actors into super stardom, especially Deepika who even landed roles in Hollywood soon after.

Six years later, arguably one of the biggest celebrity couples in Bollywood is tying the knot in a lavish, albeit incredibly private ceremony, complete with a star-studded guest list. The couple had a South Indian traditional wedding at the picturesque Lake Como in Italy. Guests had to take a boat to the location and were dressed to the nines for the big event.

As for the wedding decor, it was as lavish as we would imagine for the union of these two mega stars. Their wedding reception featured an outdoor tent with rows of tables and flowers galore, draped on the ceilings and arranged in stunning bouquets on the tables.

We can only imagine what a truly magical evening it will be for the newly married couple and their guests. Despite our excitement, it is likely that these will be the only photos of the wedding we'll have until the couple release their official wedding photos. The ceremony had tight security, including drone interceptors and QR codes for guests so as to make sure that both the guests and couple are safe and no illegal footage is leaked. Makes sense since their guest list is likely to consist of the biggest names in Bollywood. Furthermore, guests are not allowed to snap and share photos, making the wedding a highly private one.

Seems like we'll have to wait for the couple to release the photos to see their grand wedding ceremony. And trust us, we're all waiting with bated breath!
