“My summer outfit until further notice”
Goodbye, cruel winter—and hello, bikini season! Dua Lipa heralded the beginning of summer by posting a heart-racing set of bikini-clad photos of herself on Instagram today.

Leaning against a pale-yellow-tiled bathroom wall, Lipa poses in an itty-bitty polka-dot two-piece from “La Vacanza,” the Versace collection she co-designed with Donatella Versace. The stringy black swimsuit features large white polka dots interspersed among a colourful print of bugs, featuring red and blue ladybugs and yellow and orange butterflies. She accessorised the look sparingly, simply wearing hoop earrings and a gold charm necklace.
“My summer outfit until further notice 🦋🦋,” the “Don’t Start Now” singer wrote in the caption. “The cutest @versace polka dots bikini from my #VersaceLaVacanza collection with @donatella_versace.”

Lipa and Donatella debuted “La Vacanza” with a runway show held at a scenic waterfront estate in the French Riviera during the Cannes Film Festival last month. Models walked down the runway in looks that again incorporated the bikini’s polka-dot-and-bug pattern, as well as cotton-candy terrycloth sets and one-shoulder metallic sheath dresses.
“We wanted to make the holiday wardrobe and something that I’ll wear all summer, but also something other people will love and enjoy,” the Grammy winner said of the collection in a press conference. Of working with Donatella, she added, “We had such a common language, we could just bounce ideas off each other.”

Donatella reiterated that sentiment. “Working with Dua on this collection has been very exciting and I love the dynamic between us,” the designer said in a statement. “Dua is strong, fearless, and free and her creative vision is exceptional.”
