Ahead of her 42nd birthday today, Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry were spotted heading out for an early birthday dinner at Tre Lune, a celebrity-approved Italian restaurant close to their Montecito, California, home.

Photos published by the Daily Mail offered a rare look at Meghan’s California street style. She looked fabulous in a strapless column maxi dress by Posse, which featured black and white horizontal stripes from top to bottom. For footwear, she opted for a sensible pair of strappy black sandals. She further accessorised with a large Cult Gaia clutch covered in wooden beads and an array of gold jewellery, including her go-to Cartier Tank watch, a Cartier bracelet, a Jennifer Meyer tennis bracelet, and sculptural Tabayer earrings.
Meanwhile, Harry looked suave in a light blue collared button-down and white trousers.
Bazaar.com understands that Meghan will be celebrating her birthday today privately with her family.

The couple recently made their first public appearance together since May, to launch a $2 million grant for 26 youth-led initiatives in partnership with their charitable organization, the Archewell Foundation, and the Responsible Technology Youth Power Fund advisory committee.
In a special video recorded at their Montecito home last month, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex sit made surprise phone calls to a number of the fund’s inaugural beneficiaries.

“Thank you for doing everything that you do, our kids are especially grateful … They don’t know it yet,” Harry joked to Sneha Revanur, founder of Encode Justice, a global movement pushing for human rights and justice under AI through political advocacy.
“But they will!” Meghan added.
