Duchess Meghan Will Receive An Award For Her Work Empowering Women And Girls
The Duchess of Sussex will receive the Women of Vision Award from the nation’s oldest women’s foundation.

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, will receive the largest recognition from the United States' oldest women's foundation.
The Ms. Foundation for Women announced today that Duchess Meghan will be one of the honourees at its upcoming 2023 Women of Vision Awards, which "honours visionary leaders and game-changing grantee partners committed to the Ms. Foundation's mission of advancing women's collective power and creating safe, just and equitable futures for all."

Per a press release from the foundation, Meghan will be honored for "her global advocacy to empower and advocate on behalf of women and girls."
The duchess will be presented with her award by Gloria Steinem, co-founding mother of the Ms. Foundation, at the ceremony taking place at the Ziegfeld Ballroom in New York City on May 16. Other honorees at the gala will include nonprofit founders and community organizers Wanda Irving, Kimberly Inez McGuire, and LaTosha Brown, as well as abortion rights activist Olivia Julianna and LGBTQ rights advocate Rebekah Bruesehoff.

"We are thrilled to announce this year's honorees for the Women of Vision Awards and to celebrate 50 years of progress and power," Teresa C. Younger, president and CEO of the Ms. Foundation, said. "Meghan, LaTosha, Wanda, Kimberly, Olivia, and Rebekah are incredible leaders and we are grateful to be able to shine a light on their many accomplishments and tireless work on behalf of gender and racial equity across the country and the world."
Last week, Meghan received a major honour for her chart-topping podcast, Archetypes. She was named this year's Top Entertainment Podcast Host by the Gracie Awards, which recognise exemplary women-focused programming in all forms of entertainment.

The 12-episode podcast, which she launched in an effort to correct narratives and uncover the origins of common stereotypes against women, reached number one in the United States and the United Kingdom, and topped charts in 50 other countries, per her nonprofit, Archewell.
