Emily Ratajkowski traded her black minidresses and sheer looks for a more vibrant outfit while out in New York City yesterday.

The model and My Body author was pictured stepping out of her brownstone apartment in the city in a clingy light-green midi dress paired with strappy beige sandals. She accessorised simply with a silver chain tote bag, big silver hoop earrings, a gold ring, and elongated black sunglasses.

Her new fiery red hair, however, was the ultimate accessory, adding an extra pop of colour to the summer look.

Ratajkowski debuted her red hair earlier this week via a TikTok video of herself dancing inside a New York City subway car while wearing a little black strapless dress and showing off her new hair. She finished the casual outfit with white sneakers with peach-coloured soles and a green crochet tote bag by Prada. Her makeup was bronzy and included a pouty, glossy lip. “Not a filter,” she wrote over the clip, referring to her hair. (The fake redhead filter on TikTok has been trending for some time, but EmRata’s hair is the real thing.)

“Red for the summer,” she added. “Soemtimes [sic] ya just need a change you kno?”

Hours later, the model showed off the fiery look on Instagram, wearing a barely-there swimsuit. In an Instagram slideshow, the model posed on her green velvet couch wearing nothing but a plunging black one-piece suit, with rosy makeup, a glossy pouty lip, and her warm red hair styled in a straight, messy ’do.

“Gone red,” Ratajkowski wrote in the post caption, thanking the team that made her hair transformation possible.
