The 2023 MTV Video Music Awards have finally arrived, with countless stars bringing out their best in outrageous red-carpet fashion for the highly-anticipated event.
While the VMAs have long been a venue for celebrities to showcase inventive, experimental looks, this year's ceremony also serves as one of the only major red carpets held during Hollywood's ongoing strikes. This, plus the promise of some can't-miss live performances (including Olivia Rodrigo, Cardi B, and Megan the Stallion) have set the stage of an incredible night of music and fashion.
Nicki Minaj is the host this year, and viewers can expect stars including Shakira, Doja Cat, Karol G, and more to take the stage tonight. The ceremony, which will once again at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, will begin at 8 p.m. ET on MTV.
