Florence Pugh looked like art at the Harris Reed show during London Fashion Week.

The Don't Worry Darling star opened the show for the designer while wearing a sequinned silver-and-black harlequin two-piece set, composed of a maxi skirt with a thigh-high leg slit and a black velvet corset with matching sequinned cape sleeves. Attached to her back loomed a large circular halo-like headpiece, also covered in the bold diamond print. The rest of the look included celestial-themed earrings from the Harris Reed x Missoma collaboration.

"Clothing has a transformative power—whether for an actor or simply a performer on the stage of life," the actress said as she floated down the runway at the start of the show. "The art of dressing up allows us to express who we truly are, creating a safe space to inhabit in a sometimes judgmental world. Our costumes can change who we want to be seen as and who we are destined to be. I invite you to embrace the lamé and sequins of life, because all the world's a stage."

Pugh, a friend of Reed's, later reflected on her runway walk on Instagram.

"@harris_reed asked me to speak his words," she wrote. "Only as I was learning them did I realise that my 13-year-old self was screaming the same thing. You wear yourself. And what you want to be seen as."

Reed previously talked to the Evening Standard about incorporating "drama" into his show.

"I think London Fashion Week needs a bit more drama," the designer said. "I think we get overlooked sometimes. It's a very American showmanship … let's make a big moment. I am unapologetically myself."
