Awards season unofficially kicked off in New York last night with the Gotham Independent Film Awards at Cipriani Wall Street. Moonlight took home the prize for Best Feature, Best Screenplay and the Audience Award, while Isabelle Huppert (Elle) and Casey Affleck (Manchester by the Sea) nabbed awards for Best Actress and Actor, respectively.
