Halle Berry Celebrates Her 55th Birthday With A Song from Her Boyfriend

Halle Berry had a nice and chill 55th birthday.
The Monster's Ball actor shared a look at how she spent her birthday on Saturday in an Instagram video. The clip shows Berry leaning out of a car window, filming herself as she enjoyed nature and the wind flowing through her hair. In the caption, Berry reflected on the rough past year, which she described as a "storm."

"After the year we’ve all had, my heart is full as I’m grateful to see this August 14th. In the midst of the storm, I’ve managed to create happiness, find more peace, and feel more free than ever! Finally, I’m exhaling!" Berry wrote.
Berry also gave a shout out to her boyfriend, Van Hunt, whose rendition of The Platter's "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes" played in the background of the video. "Thank you vanO for my b-day serenade 🎵," she wrote.

Hunt also posted a birthday tribute for his girlfriend. He captioned a picture of a candle burning in a glass vessel with, "wax, nevr wane. love's aflame. happiest of double5's to u, Suga."
The star responded with the comment, "love you, big daddy 😂."
Berry, who has mostly kept her personal life private in the past, has been sharing more moments with her boyfriend on Instagram in the past year. Last May, Berry posted a steamy PDA pic of herself and Hunt, captioned with "We do this thing called whatever the f*ck we want ! 💋." She also shared some sweet pics of the couple enjoying a boat ride during sunset last Fourth of July.
