1. Hudson Williams
Heated Rivalry’s Hudson Williams has been having a moment as Hollywood’s hottest hunk of 2026. His dashing looks came from his Korean mother and his father, who is of British and Dutch descent.
2. Megan Skiendiel
Megan Skiendiel, of the internet’s favourite global girl group, Katseye, was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, to a Chinese-Singaporean mother and a Swedish-American father. The singer is evidently proud of her heritage, often teaching her members Cantonese phrases and always having her jade bracelet on her, no matter the occasion.
3. Lola Tung
In the summer of 2025, you were either team Conrad or team Jeremiah. At the centre of the internet debate was Lola Tung’s character, Belly, from the hit show The Summer I turned Pretty, a show best known for its intense love triangle, Taylor Swift soundtrack, and its #TeamConrad vs #TeamJeremiah debate. Lola, the leading lady of the viral series, was born to a Chinese-Swedish mother and father of Eastern European descent.raised in New York City.
4. Charli XCX
The cultural movement of 2024 and 2025, a.k.a Brat summer, was helmed by none other than Charli XCX, who released her album Brat in June of 2024. The singer is of Gujarati Indian descent from her mother, while her father is Scottish.
5. Laufey
Gen Z’s favourite jazz-pop singer Laufey has a Chinese mother who hails from Guangzhou and an Icelandic father. Fun fact, her mother was actually a classical violinist, which explains why Laufey and her twin sister Junia are so musically gifted!
6. Olivia Rodrigo
Olivia Rodrigo is a fourth-generation Filipina American—part Filipina on her dad’s side of the family, and part German and Irish on her mom's side. 2021 was a breakout year for the Disney actor-turned-singer-songwriter, whose debut single Driver's License topped Billboard’s Hot 100 for eight consecutive weeks.
7. Avan Jogia
This one’s for all the kids who grew up watching Victorious on Disney. Avan Jogia, who plays Beck Oliver in the show, is son to a British Indian Gujarati father, while his mother is of English, German, and Welsh descent.
8. Zayn Malik
Though Zayn was born and raised in Bradford, West Yorkshire, he is actually half Pakistani and half English. He needs no introduction after being one fifth of One Direction and now a chart-topping solo artist.
9. Bruno Mars
Though everyone knows his hits like “Uptown Funk” and “APT” with BLACKPINK’s Rosé, not many people know of Bruno Mars’s melting pot heritage. His father is half Puerto Rican and half Jewish, while his mother is Filipino with Spanish ancestry. A truly diverse mix!
10. Vanessa Hudgens
The star of Disney’s High School Musical catapulted to global fame at the age of 18 and has since built an extensive career in film, TV and theatre. Her late father was of Irish, French, and Native American descent, while her mother hails from the Philippines.
11. Naomi Scott
Actress and singer Naomi Scott is of Gujarati Indian and English heritage. She had a standout year in 2019 with her role as Princess Jasmine in Disney's musical live-action film Aladdin and Elena Houghlin in Charlie's Angels. Scott is also a UK ambassador to the Christian charity organisation Compassion International, sponsoring children living in poverty.
12. Hailee Steinfeld
The actress, singer, songwriter, and model earned her first Oscar nomination for her role in 2010's True Grit, and has since starred in various films and TV series, including the award-winning film Sinners with Michael B. Jordan. Steinfeld's maternal grandfather was half Filipino and half African American, which makes her part-Filipina.
13. Shay Mitchell
Multi-hyphenate Shay Mitchell juggles acting, running a travel accessories brand, Beis, and motherhood. Her father is of Scottish and Irish descent, and her mother is Filipina.
14. Charles Melton
Charles Melton is a Korean-American actor who first started his career as a model. Melton rose to prominence as Reggie Mantle on the TV series Riverdale and played Daniel Bae in the teen romance film The Sun Is Also a Star, before going on to star alongside A-listers Natalie Portman and Julianne Moore in May December.
15. H.E.R.
Filipino-American R&B songstress Gabriella Sarmiento Wilson, a.k.a H.E.R. (which stands for "Having Everything Revealed") signed her first record deal with Sony when she was just 14. Today, she has four Grammys under her belt, and an Oscar for Best Original Song in the film, Judas and the Black Messiah—she's well on her way to earning the coveted EGOT status.
16. Naomi Osaka
Born in Japan to a Japanese mother and Haitian-American father, Naomi Osaka is a four-time Grand Slam singles champion. The tennis star is also the first Japanese player to win a Grand Slam title, the first Asian player to hold the top ranking in singles, and the first woman to win successive Grand Slam singles titles.

17. Ross Butler
The Singapore‑born, Virginia‑raised actor made his first foray into acting when he turned 21, thanks to a friend who bought him an acting class. Growing up not only as a foreigner but also mixed-race in America—his mum is Chinese-Malaysian and his dad, English-Dutch—Ross Butler did not relate to films that played into Asian stereotypes, and made it his mission early in his career to challenge the status quo in Hollywood.

18. Olivia Munn
Actress and former television host Olivia Munn—who is a first-generation American of Chinese-Vietnamese descent—spent her formative years in Utah and Tokyo.

Everyone knows the actress and model, Kiko. What is less known is that she is in fact half American and half Zainichi Korean—ethnic Koreans who reside in Japan.
20. Karrueche Tran
The model and actress shot to fame and fronted tabloid covers in the 2010s when she dated Chris Brown. But many fell in love with her unique look, thanks to her half Vietnamese and half African-American heritage.
21. Henry Golding
The star of Crazy Rich Asians is, naturally, of Asian descent. Henry is of English and Iban ancestry. The term "Iban" is in reference to the Dayak people of Borneo.
