Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas Met Gala 2023

It takes a village to get ready for a night out at the Met Gala. From stylists to beauty teams, there's no doubt that plenty of people are working behind-the-scenes before the stars step onto the Metropolitan Museum of Art's carpeted steps.

On Instagram, Nick Jonas shared a glimpse of his Monday evening before he and wife Priyanka Chopra arrived at the party. In the sweet photos, he revealed that even their one-year-old daughter, Malti Marie, lent a helping hand during the getting-ready process.

A sweet black-and-white portrait, captured by Nicolas Gerardin, shows the "Sucker" singer carrying baby Malti in his arms. His daughter seems preoccupied with Jonas's tie, and is snapped toying with it as if to adjust the accessory.

Another photo shows a cute PDA moment between Jonas and Chopra, who both wore Valentino for fashion's biggest night. The two tilted their noses against each other's as they entered the elevator of their hotel.

Jonas captioned the pictures, "Pre Met with my girls. ❤️"

Chopra recently opened up about life with Malti in an interview for Elle US's May digital cover story. "She’s got me wrapped around her finger. I don’t even know how I’ll ever discipline her because I just don’t have it in me," the Citadel actor said.

Reflecting on the scary experience of Malti staying in the neonatal intensive care unit after she was born in 2022, Chopra added, "I was so close to losing her so many times that she can get away with anything and I just want to see her happy. I want her to be the happiest. She’s a super smiley, happy baby, and that’s all my goal is—to see her joyous. Every time she smiles, it lights up my world, and that’s all I want to do."
