Despite their proclaimed fondness for each other, it’s still rare to have both exes Dita von Teese and Marilyn Manson in the same photo set these days. But that’s exactly what you get when Cartier throws a party: The celebrity set shows up in full force for a high-octane night of revelry.
The event to fête Cartier’s reintroduction of its Panthère de Cartier watch saw actresses like Kirsten Dunst, Dakota Johnson and Sienna Miller hanging out with members of the fashion crowd including the Mulleavy Sisters, Arizona Muse, Miranda Kerr and Michelle Harper. There was even a splattering of music peeps such as Alicia Keys (who delivered an electrifying performance to the star-studded guest list), Jillian Hervey of Lion Babe (with another performance), Mark Ronson (who deejayed for the night), and, of course, King of shock, Marilyn Manson himself.
Held at LA’s Milk Studios—transformed for the night into a decadent jewellery box complete with golden palm trees and countless glittering light tubes hanging from the ceiling—the event also saw the world’s who’s who gravitating to its cavernous halls. Cartier’s signature red-capped bellboys, trays of bite-sized morsels, free flow Champagne and other libations kept the party swinging to Ronson's hip-hop beats till the wee hours of the morning—resulting in a party that we will not soon forget.
