Jennifer Lawrence Returns To The Red Carpet In A Sheer Strapless Gown
The award-winning actress wore Dior Haute Couture to the Toronto International Film Festival.
Jennifer Lawrence chose an edgy-yet-elegant look for her first red carpet since welcoming her son.
The Don't Look Up actress attended the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of her new film Causeway at the Royal Alexandra Theatre yesterday, in a glamorous spin on her breezy post-baby style. For the event, she wore a strapless black gown from Dior Haute Couture's fall 2022 collection, which features a sheer maxi-length and a matching black high-cut bodysuit underneath.
The piece's elevated details include a ruffled neckline, corset-like lacing across the bodice, artful pleats at the skirt and sleeves, and peek-a-boo paneling at the sides. The star accessorized the look with black strappy sandals, as well as a diamond-and-emerald ring and matching earrings by Kwiat Diamonds.
For her beauty look, the Oscar winner styled her lightly-curled hair over one shoulder, and wore subtle rosy blush and a nude-pink lip.

Lawrence's TIFF appearance was her second time stepping out in a black dress this week. The Silver Linings Playbook actor stepped out in NYC on Friday afternoon, trading in her laid-back summer style for a knee-length dress with a plunging sweetheart neckline. She paired the black, long-sleeved piece with some surprising footwear: a pair of neon-green heeled wedges.
She accessorized the look with a black, oval-shaped sunglasses, a shiny gold clutch, and a gold statement necklace with a turquoise stone.

Last week, the actress confirmed in a new interview that she and her husband Cooke Maroney have welcomed a son, named Cy. She also opened up about her biggest fears, now that she's a mother.
"My heart has stretched to a capacity that I didn’t know about. I include my husband in that. And then they’re both just, like, out there—walking around, crossing streets," she said. "He’s gonna drive one day. He’s gonna be a stupid teenager and be behind the wheel of a car. And I’m just gonna be like, Good night! You know? Like, who sleeps?"
