Jennifer Lopez Does Quiet Luxury In Baggy Jeans And Louboutin Flats

Jennifer Lopez traded her signature sparkly, luxe style for a quietly sleek everyday look in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

The multi-hyphenate was photographed shopping for furniture in Beverly Hills in the casual errand-run chic look, composed of a black turtleneck top, baggy wide-leg blue jeans, pointy black flats, a black bag, and gold accessories. But in true J.Lo fashion, even her simple staples were designer. The flats were Christian Louboutin (peep the red soles), and the bag was a rare croc-embossed Hermès Birkin (from her extensive and fabulous Birkin collection).
Her glam was also relaxed—she seemed to wear minimal makeup and had her straight hair down.

She additionally accessorised with a golden watch, a black bracelet, black-frame glasses, and her iconic large gold hoop earrings. (In a recent Instagram video, Lopez gave a tutorial on her “Bronx goddess glow” and admitted her look is never complete without her hoops—“not optional.”)

The “Jenny From the Block” singer has been embracing the “quiet luxury” aesthetic more and more these days. Last month, she was spotted out and about in L.A. wearing a chic, low-key black-and-white outfit. It consisted of a classic white tank top, short black ribbed cardigan with white buttons, and relaxed black trousers. She finished it off with sleek black flats and a black leather quilted shoulder bag with golden hardware by Coach. Other accessories included large diamond stud earrings, chunky gold bracelets, and dark tortoiseshell sunglasses.
