Leave it to Kim Kardashian to make leggings look luxe.

This past weekend, the fashion mogul celebrated the launch of her new SKIMS Swim pop-up in the Miami Design District, where she made a splashy entrance in a metallic spandex set (think Jane Fonda meets Ex Machina).

Her matching silver bikini top and skintight leggings were courtesy of high-end latex brand Vex. She accessorized with black oversized Balenciaga sunglasses and smoky PVC Yeezy booties.

Showing her support, Khloé Kardashian also attended the Miami event, wearing an electric-blue minidress with an exposed corset bodice from Mugler paired with heels from Giuseppe Zanotti and gold hoops from Jennifer Fisher.

Kim first teased that her shapewear brand would be expanding into swimwear by posting a slew of bikini-clad photos to her Instagram earlier this year.

"I know our customers have been wanting this from us for such a long time," she later said in a press release. "We've really taken the time to make sure we're offering the best solutions for our customers. Buying swimwear should be fun and easy, yet so many women feel daunted by it. I wanted to change that and make the process as simple as possible by providing a full Swim wardrobe—both for in and out of the water."

Of the collection—which includes swimsuits, as well as sarong skirts, long-sleeved one-pieces, and shorts—SKIMS cofounder Jens Grede said, "It was essential that the launch of such a highly anticipated category resonated with our customers in the ways they expect, with a focus on fit, comfort and versatility."
