It’s official—Stray Kids has made history as the first K-pop band to attend the Met Gala with all eight members accounted for and dressed in Tommy Hilfiger, no less.

Hot off the brand’s recent Spring 2024 campaign, the K-pop sensations donned wool peacoats as they walked the red carpet but soon revealed their custom looks that highlight Tommy Hilfiger’s all-American prep DNA with red, white and blue taking centrestage and floral details to match this year’s theme, “The Garden of Time”.

The group’s highly anticipated debut at the fundraiser was teased by vocalist Seungmin days before the big event during an Instagram livestream where he revealed that the members were preparing for fittings.
This is a monumental moment for K-pop fans, as other idols such as Jennie, Rosé and Jackson Wang had previously walked up those famous museum steps solo, making Stray Kids debut at the Met Gala a rare sight.
