Millie Bobby Brown Announces Engagement To Boyfriend Jake Bongiovi With Candid Photo

Millie Bobby Brown is engaged to boyfriend Jake Bongiovi—and her announcement was as classy as candid as she is.

The Stranger Things actress, 19, this morning shared a black-and-white photo on Instagram of them together. In it, they are both seen laughing with joy. Bongiovi, 20, hugs Brown from the back, while she holds his arm, showing off her new diamond engagement ring. 

Both are dressed in white—him in a simple polo and her in a frilly lace dress and small hoop earrings with white pearls.

In the post caption, Brown quoted lyrics from Taylor Swift's romantic hit "Lover," which the pop star wrote about longtime boyfriend Joe Alwyn. "I've loved you three summers now, honey, I want 'em all 🤍," Brown wrote.

Bongiovi shared his own post on Instagram announcing the engagement. In it, he included two photos of them on the beach together—one of them embracing in front of the ocean, and one of them gazing lovingly into each other's eyes. "Forever 🤍," he simply wrote.

Brown and Bongiovi have been dating since June 2021. He is the son of musician Jon Bon Jovi. While they've kept their relationship relatively low-key, they've regularly shared glimpses into their romance over the years, and have attended several Hollywood events together.

In March of last year, Bongiovi and Brown attended the EE British Academy Film Awards in London. In May, Bongiovi supported brown at the New York City premiere of Stranger Things season 4. And in October, the two walked the red carpet at the world premiere of Netflix's Enola Holmes 2 in New York.
