Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan were missing during the final big event of Platinum Jubilee Weekend.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex did not attend the Platinum Pageant celebration at Buckingham Palace, where Queen Elizabeth made a surprise balcony appearance. They also did not attend any Jubilee events Saturday, instead spending the day in private to celebrate their daughter Lilibet "Lili" Diana's first birthday.

The Sussexes traveled to London from California to attend the country-wide celebrations, with 2-year-old Archie returning to the country of his birth, and Lili making her first trip to the U.K. The family arrived at Frogmore Cottage Wednesday afternoon, where they have reportedly stayed throughout the trip and celebrated privately yesterday.

Harry and Meghan kept a low profile throughout the weekend, though they did attend the two biggest events of the holiday. For the Trooping the Colour parade Thrusday, the couple watched the festivity live from the Major General's Office, as non-working members of the royal family were not invited to attend the traditional balcony appearance during the parade.

The pair were spotted during the big event, with photos capturing both Harry and Meghan playing with with Peter Phillips's daughters, 11-year-old Savannah and 10-year-old Isla, as well as Mike and Zara Tindall's children, eight-year-old Mia and three-year-old Lena. In the pics published by People, Meghan wears a navy blue dress with a boat neckline and short sleeves.

The next day, the duke and duchess made their first official U.K. public appearance since stepping back as senior members of the royal family, attending the National Service of Thanksgiving honoring the monarch at St. Paul's Cathedral.

Duchess Meghan wore a dazzling all-white look from Dior haute couture, featuring a long trench coat and skirt made of wool and silk, and an organza shirt. She finished the look with ivory pumps and gloves, also from Dior, a floppy hat by Stephen Jones, and diamond stud earrings.

The couple were not seen spend time publicly with the queen or any of Harry's immediate family members this weekend. Last April, the pair quietly traveled to the U.K. to pay a private visit to the monarch. They stopped by Windsor Castle, where they met with the queen as well as Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla, on the way to the Invictus Games in the Netherlands.
