Priyanka Chopra And Nick Jonas Celebrate Baby Malti’s First Diwali

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas's celebration of Diwali this year is extra special thanks to their new, little family member.

This year, the couple celebrated the Hindu holiday with their baby daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. The Quantico actress shared photos of the festivities on Instagram, including pictures of the family unit matching in cream embroidered outfits, Malti posing with family members, and an inside look at the celebration's decor and food.

"Love, peace and prosperity to all. From a heart truly laden with gratitude, I wish you all a Happy Diwali," Chopra captioned the sweet images on Instagram. "Sorry I'm a little late but decided to stay in the moment just a little bit longer.. ॐ नमः शिवाय From ours to yours. Love and light ????????????❤️."

Jonas also shared some snaps from the special day on Instagram.

He captioned his post, "Such a beautiful Diwali celebration with my ♥️. Happy Diwali everyone. Sending joy and light to you all. #diwali"

Chopra and Jonas welcomed Malti, their first child, via surrogacy earlier this year. "We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate," they announced in a joint statement at the time. "We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much."

The actress later opened up about taking Malti home after she spent more than 100 days in the NICU. "After 100 plus days in the NICU, our little girl is finally home. Every family's journey is unique and requires a certain level of faith, and while ours was a challenging few months, what becomes abundantly clear, in retrospect, is how precious and perfect every moment is," she wrote on Instagram.
