Rosé, Wonwoo And S.Coups Celebrated RIMOWA ’s Newest Launch In Seoul
Inspired by the vibrant charm of tropical destinations.
Summer is getting an early start with RIMOWA’s new colour palette, which exudes the vibrant charm of tropical destinations. Featuring a delicate shade of Mint, which draws inspiration from the pastel-hued buildings that line Miami’s famous Art District; and a radiant shade of Papaya that transports its wearer to Miami’s beachside sunset, the seasonally-apt shades were revealed at an exclusive event in Seoul’s burgeoning Seongsu district on April 15.

Though held on a drizzly evening, the vibes inside S-Factory were anything but grey. The event saw a star-studded turnout—including RIMOWA global ambassadors Rosé and Lewis Hamilton, Rowoon, SEVENTEEN’s Wonwoo and S.Coups, EXO’s Baekhyun and Xiumin, TREASURE’s Haruto and Junkyu, as well as Mile Phakphum.
For the first time ever, RIMOWA brought two of its global ambassadors Rosé and Lewis Hamilton in one place. The BLACKPINK star made an entrance in a sculptural mini dress and sky-high platform Mary Janes that alluded to the brand’s new tropical hues, while the Formula One driver looked stylish in a Dior suit accessorised with a pearl necklace.

SEVENTEEN’s Wonwoo and S.Coups brought the heat in sleek ensembles that complemented their Personal Crossbody bags featuring Mint and Papaya accents.
Rowoon posed with the German maison’s new suitcases airbrushed in Mint and Papaya tones. “The vibrant colours make me want to go on a trip right away,” said the actor.

EXO’s Baekhyun and Xiumin arrived to much fanfare in casually cool outfits paired with RIMOWA’s Personal Crossbody bags and cabin suitcases that combine style and functionality.
Joining them were over 400 guests from around the world, who enjoyed Mint and Papaya themed cocktails and canapes amongst an immersive display of the Essential suitcases in splashy new colours and a larger-than-life papaya sculpture.
Set to be released on 2 May 2024 worldwide, Mint and Papaya will be available across the Essential suitcase range, select designs from the Signature collection, the RIMOWA Personal range, the RIMOWA UNIQUE customisation programme, as well as a selection of travel accessories.
