Apparently, shouting "I'm single" on the sidelines of a soccer match is the way to go these days, in a recent video the star posted to TikTok. "I’m just a little high maintenance. But I’ll love you so much," Gomez declared in the hilarious clip.

While none of the players came over, which is a surprise in itself, the pop star was clearly enjoying herself. The clip quickly went viral, with one person commenting, "how do they not notice that a QUEEN is in their presence."
Millions of fans commented on the post referencing her character, Alex Russo, from her Disney Channel days on Wizards of Waverly Place. (In case you don't remember, Alex was definitely the straightforward, confident and often bluntly honest type.) One comment read, "What in the Alex Russo is happening here?"

Of course, some comments did reference the rumours about Gomez seeing former One Direction singer Zayn Malik, with one viewer simply saying, "girl we know you’re dating zayn." The reference comes after a source told Entertainment Tonight that "Selena and Zayn went out in SoHo in New York City," continuing that, "They walked in holding hands and were kissing. Most restaurant staff and restaurant goers didn’t notice them. It seemed like they were comfortable together and it was clear that it was a date."

But this relationship still remains an unconfirmed rumour, as Gomez seems to confirm with this TikTok. Regardless, shouting at attractive strangers while wrapped in blankets at a sports game is one way to get some attention (we stan a highly relatable queen).
