Sydney Sweeney Did Y2K In A Baby-Pink Cargo Miniskirt And Peep-Toe Sandals

Sydney Sweeney stepped out in New York City yesterday looking every bit a Miu Miu muse.

The brand ambassador stopped in Union Square for an activation event for beverage brand Bai, wearing a Y2K-inspired look with staples from the fashion house. The outfit consisted of a white T-shirt with soft-pink short sleeves and a Dion Lee cargo miniskirt, with pockets, in the same baby-pink hue. Sweeney finished the look with white patent leather peep-toe Miu Miu sandals with the brand’s logo on the front, gold-framed oval sunglasses with rose-tinted lenses (also by Miu Miu), and large gold hoop earrings.

The Euphoria star regularly models retro-esque looks from the brand. While in France for the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, she wore a curve-hugging light blue midi dress from Miu Miu to a brand lunch she hosted at L’Ecrin Plage. The semi-sheer piece featured a scoop neckline and white flower appliqués, and was cinched at the waist, creating a chic ’90s silhouette. It resembled Cinderella’s iconic blue gown from the 1950 Disney animated film—albeit with a contemporary, sexy twist.

For another event in Cannes, she wore a silky white slipdress by Miu Miu, which she layered over a similarly silky powder-blue bra. She left the lingerie exposed and finished the look with white platform heels with silver chain straps, and small diamond hoop earrings.

The actress even wore Miu Miu to the 2023 Met Gala: a ruched blush gown embellished with clear jewels and large silver sequins all over.
