The multi-talented Mew Suppasit Jongcheveevat was just in Singapore to grace the opening of the Montblanc flagship boutique opening at Takashimaya. Dressed in a sharp suit and making his appearance in a blonde update, the Thai star hinted at the exciting release of his latest single, “Absence”.

Background
Suppasit Jongcheveevat, nicknamed Mew, was born on 21 February 1991 in Thailand.
He studied industrial engineering at Kasetsart University for his bachelors, and moved on to Chulalongkorn University for his masters. The multi-hyphenate is reportedly extending his time in Chulalongkorn University for his PhD in industrial engineering, as of 2024.
His acting career and notable works
Mew rose to fame with What The Duck: The Series in 2018, where he acted as Pree. The series was renewed for a second season in 2019 due to its popularity.
But Mew truly got his big break when he acted in TharnType: The Series, where he acted alongside Gulf Kanawut Traipipattanapong who acted as the homophobic roommate that Mew’s character, Tharn, fell in love with.
In his acting career, Mew has won several accolades, including several Best Couple awards for TharnType: The Series, and Best Actor for Love Me Again during the 2023 Asia Top Awards.
He’s a musician too
Besides acting, Mew also has a talent for singing. The artiste’s discography includes songs such as “Before 4:30 (She said...)“, which is a collaboration with Korean singer Sam Kim. Mew also worked with EXO member Suho on “Turn Off The Alarm”, in 2023.
He just released a single titled “Absence”
After much anticipation, Mew released his latest single, “Absence”. In light of the release, the artist held a press conference in Union Mall Bangkok on 24 October 2024.
As Mew told us himself, the song is about missing someone from the heart, and it could refer to anyone—a partner, a friend, or family. For Mew, he dedicated “Absence” to Tul, “the person who filled the emptiness of [his] heart”.

He’s engaged to Tul Pakorn
After appearing together in our January 2024 issue, Mew and Tul Pakorn Thanasrivanitchai revealed they were in a relationship. The pair made the announcement on an episode of My Ambulove on YouTube, approximately six months after they were featured in Harper’s BAZAAR Singapore.
On 24 October 2024, Mew went down on one knee in a public proposal to Tul during his “Absence” press conference. In accepting the proposal, Tul kneeled alongside Mew and popped the question back.

He walked the runway for BOSS
During Milan Fashion Week, Mew walked the runway for the BOSS spring/summer 2025 show.
