As he gears up for the winner of a mystery date in association with dating app Coffee Meets Bagel, we caught up with real life McDreamy, Dr Mike to talk all things romantic.

Harper's BAZAAR Singapore: You’ve gotten a lot of press in the past year and have even been named People magazine’s “Sexiest Doctor of the Year”—how do you feel about that?

Dr Mike: I'm honored to receive such a title. I personally never saw myself as "sexy" so to have a major publication like people magazine to think I'm sexiest anything is pretty awesome.

HB: What is your secret to social media success?

DM: Be unique. Find a niche that is unfilled. Post on a topic that you're passionate about and the sucess will follow.

HB: What is your life mantra in 140 characters?

DM: Understand for every known known, there are known unknowns, as well as unknown unknowns. So what you think you know, you might actually not.

HB: What is your idea of the perfect Insta-date?

DM: I love spontaneous dates where we do something exciting and get the adrenaline going. I would love to take my date somewhere she hasnt been before like car racing on a track, or maybe rock climbing on a mountain in NYC.

HB: Three hashtags to describe your perfect partner?

HB: What has been your most memorable Valentine’s Day so far?

DM: Hopefully the one I am about to have =]

HB: What would be your perfect Valentine’s Day gift?

DM: Something that brings a couple together. Something that shows you spent a significant amount of time selecting the gift. Price really doesn't matter.
