Sulwhasoo celebrated the opening of their first boutique in South-east Asia with an intimate gathering of 35 guests. Situated at the iconic Capitol Piazza, it also marks the Korean brand’s 100th store globally. Senior Beauty Writer Joyce Cheo shared her experiences with Sulwhasoo’s facials before guests were then taken on a guided tour around the store.
Combining elements of Korean art with the Capitol heritage, the store features clean lines and simplistic design for an elegant and modern touch. Store assistants were on-hand for product demonstrations, while guests were also treated to the opportunity of having their names written in Korean by a specially-arranged calligrapher. Sticking true to the brand’s heritage and philosophy, even the canapés that were served were infused with Korean ingredients and flavours for a uniquely Sulwhasoo experience.
