What is your first memory of fashion?
I remember my mother always dressing me up for events and forcing me to wear pretty, frilly dresses, which I really didn’t fancy at all because I was quite the tomboy. She still tries to dress me sometimes; but strangely enough, we now have very similar styles, love the same looks and share all of our clothes. We shop together all the time as well. Oh, how the tables have turned.
What is the one item you share the most?
A pair of Louis Vuitton black patent leather boots.
What is your style philosophy?
To try pieces and trends you’d never think would work for you. If you see something on the runways or on your favourite It girl—mine are Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid—don’t be afraid to try it out for yourself. Even if you aren’t model height!
Do you have a “What was I thinking” buy?
I have so many! I’ve had to go through multiple wardrobe detoxes to sift out the clothes I never wore but hoarded, the result of numerous impulse online shopping sprees! But the ultimate pieces would be a pair of sexy suede Christian Louboutin boots that are supposed to be thigh-highs but are literally the length of my legs; and a super cool multi-chain Ambush harness belt.
What’s on your wish list?
The most ethereal midnight blue evening gown from Dior’s fall/winter 2017 collection—paired with a leather beret, perhaps?
