TERMS & CONDITIONS
- This Harper’s BAZAAR Singapore LISA Box Set Giveaway (“Giveaway”) is organised by SPH Media Ltd (“SPH Media“, “we”, “our” or “us”).
- Your participation in the Giveaway will be subject to:
- the terms and conditions herein, and
- the SPH Online Contests & Lucky Draws Terms and Conditions (found at https://www.sph.com.sg/terms-and-conditions/online-contests/)
(collectively, the “T&Cs“).
- By submitting an entry for the Giveaway, you accept and agree to be bound by and to comply with the T&Cs, including any amendments we may make hereto.
How to Enter
- By participating in this Giveaway, stand a chance to win an exclusive limited-edition Harper’s BAZAAR Singapore LISA 5-cover box set (“LISA Box Set”). A total of 10 LISA Box Sets are available to be won. To enter the Giveaway:
- Comment on our Giveaway announcement posts on the Harper’s BAZAAAR Singapore TikTok page (@harpersbazaarsg) or Instagram page (@harpersbazaarsg), and tell us why you want to win a LISA Box Set.
- The Giveaway will start on 12 May 2023, and end at 11.59pm on 14 May 2023 (the “Giveaway Period”). All comments that appear after the Giveaway Period will not be considered.
- At the end of the Giveaway Period, we will give one LISA Box Set each to the users with the five most creative comments on our TikTok post, and the five most creative comments on our Instagram post.
- Our decision on all aspects of the Giveaway, including our decision on the most creative entries, shall be final. No verbal or written correspondence, including but not limited to enquiries and appeals, will be entertained.
- Winners will be contacted via TikTok DM and Instagram DM respectively, and will be informed of how they may claim their prizes. In the event that the winners fail to respond within 3 days from our notification, we reserve the right to render your claim for the prizes as forfeit.
- You may submit multiple entries on either TikTok or Instagram. However, each person will only be entitled to win one LISA Box Set, regardless of the number of entries you have submitted, whether on TikTok or Instagram. If we determine that you control more than one prize winning account, we reserve the right to restrict your prize eligibility to just one LISA Box Set.
- Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and non-cash prizes cannot be exchanged for cash.
Eligibility
- The Giveaway is only open to residents in Singapore, except:
- employees of SPH Media Limited;
- employees of agents or suppliers of SPH Media Limited who are professionally connected with the Giveaway or its administration; or
- members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.
- We will not accept entries for the Giveaway if, in our discretion, we determine that your entries are automatically generated by computer, entries via bot accounts, or entries completed by third parties or in bulk.
- By submitting an entry for this Giveaway, you confirm that you are eligible to do so, and you affirm the accuracy of all information provided to us. We may require you to provide proof of your eligibility.
Miscellaneous
We do not accept any:
- responsibility for Giveaway entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or
- proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the Giveaway.
- If any point in time, whether or not during the Giveaway Period, we determine that you have breached the T&Cs, that you have provided us with false information, or that you do not or did not meet the eligibility criteria for the Giveaway, we may disqualify you from the Giveaway, and forfeit, withhold, reclaim, or recover from you any prizes won through the Giveaway (or the value of such prizes won).
- By participating in the Giveaway, you agree that:
- any and all personal data submitted may be collected, used, processed and/or disclosed by (i) us, our related corporations and our affiliates (collectively “SPH Media Group“) and (ii) the Giveaway sponsor(s), for various purposes including to communicate with you for purposes related to the Giveaway, to provide goods and services to you upon request, to send you marketing information on products and services offered by the SPH Media Group or other parties, and such other purposes SPH Media Group may reasonably deem appropriate, or for such purposes that you may have otherwise given your consent to SPH Media Group.
- SPH Media Group may collect, use, disclose and share amongst themselves and their respective service providers and the Giveaway sponsor(s), your personal data, including the photographs or audio-video or other recordings of you (“Material“) for publicity and/or use in advertisements across all media, including, without limitation, in SPH Media Group’s publications, presentations, promotional materials on their websites, in its original or edited format, and whether to promote the Giveaway or otherwise without further notification, remuneration or compensation; and
- the copyright and all other intellectual property rights in and to all Material shall vest solely and absolutely in us without further compensation.
- You shall not, without our prior written approval, speak to the press or any other media nor give any interviews or comments relating to the Giveaway.
- Neither we nor any companies within the SPH Media Group shall be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss), damage, personal injury or death in connection with the Giveaway, or any prize, except any liability that cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law). Except to the extent that they may not be excluded by law, no representations, warranties, terms or conditions that are not expressly stated in these T&Cs apply to this Giveaway nor in respect of the prizes and all implied warranties are excluded, including but not limited to, the implied warranties of satisfactory quality, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose of any of the prizes.
- We have the right to vary or amend the terms and conditions of the Giveaway by posting such amendments on our website(s) or publications. In the event of any discrepancy in details of the dates set out in the print newspaper and the website, the dates on the website shall prevail.
- These T&Cs are governed by Singapore law. If any entrants to this Giveaway wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts in Singapore.
